A desk within Union for reaching the people who decline cold approaches, through the people they already answer.

Every closed door has someone it opens for. The Access Desk keeps track of who that is, so when a member needs to reach a particular principal, the approach arrives carried by a relationship rather than a pitch.

We ask before we connect. A door opened this way stays open, because the person behind it agreed to the knock — which is the only kind of access worth having.
